2.4 Places¶
Abstract
This tutorial is an introduction to the concept of Places in Sanduq. In this tutorial, we break down what a "Place object" or simply, a Place, in Sanduq is comprised of. Moreover, we introduce the Create Place form and provide a detailed reference to every metadata attribute of a Person.
What is Places?¶
Places is a concept in Sanduq that represents any and all locations that are relevant to any and all Assets. We may use the singular term for places- Place. A Place in Sanduq is a combination of a Picture & the Metadata (explained in Glossary).

Create Place Form¶
The metadata attributes of a Place correspond to the fields in the Create Place Form. This is the form that allows a cataloguer to create a Place in Sanduq.
