Metadata¶

Metadata is defined in the Oxford Dictionary as "information that describes other information". The information in Sanduq is represented by the core concepts- Assets, People, & Places. Hence, in Sanduq, metadata refers to the information about the Assets, People, & Places.

In other words, the form-fields that one fills while creating an Asset constitutes the "metadata" of the Asset because it is the information about the Asset. The same goes with People and Places.
